You can enable or disable the notifications you find useful in Apple Find My.
The Apple Find My app provides a convenient way to receive notifications about your BagID's location when it's not in close proximity to your device. This feature is especially handy to activate when you've checked in your baggage at the airport.
Here is how to do it:
- Make sure you have added your BagID to Apple Find My
- Locate your BagID in the list of your devices
- Go to 'Notifications'
- Ensure that 'Notify When Found' is turned on
- Also, make sure that 'Lost-mode' is turned on
This feature will promptly send a notification to your device(s) with the updated location as soon as it's detected by an Apple Find My enabled device. Make sure to take advantage of this function after you've checked in your baggage at the airport!
