I’m trying to connect to my BagID, but I receive a message stating that my device is already paired with another user

Your BagID 2 can only be connected to one user account at a time due to security reasons. 

If you’re receiving a message that your BagID 2 is paired with another user, it’s likely because you paired your BagID 2 and phone through a different user account in the BagID-app. This may occur if you used different email addresses or login methods (such as Apple ID).

How can I find out which user account I used previously?

You can search your mailbox to see if you can find an activation email for your previous user account. If you find the correct email address, please log out of the BagID-app and select “Forgot password”. We will then send you a new, temporary password to your email. Please remember to check your spam folder!

Alternatively, you can always contact our support team and request us to check which account your device is paired with. We can remove the pairing if you'd like. Please include your device's serial number in your inquiry. You can use our contact form here or email us at support@bagid.no
