# I am worried the BagID will fall off my luggage during travel

## When properly mounted the BagID is highly secure and very unlikely to detach from your bag.

**It’s important to ensure that you have attached your BagID correctly to your luggage before traveling.**

An attachment case comes with the BagID when purchasing. [See this article](https://helpcenter.bagid.com/en/attaching-the-attachment-case-to-your-luggage?hsLang=en) on how to properly mount your BagID with our attachment case, paying particular attention to the locking pin insertion.

> **For an added layer of security, especially against potential theft, consider using our TSA padlock to secure your device. **

If you should be very unlucky and your luggage shows up without your BagID, we will replace it if...

- you use our TSA padlock (attached both to your BagID and your bag)
- you have attached the BagID correctly
- you have tracking activated
- you have more than 30% battery capacity left

Please provide us with a picture of your BagID correctly attached, and a screenshot of tracking activated and the battery levels.
