Is it allowed to use BagID on airplanes?

Yes, you can check in your luggage with a BagID attached.

The BagID 2 contains a Lithium Ion battery which is under 2.7Wh, complying with the regulations of FAA as a PED (portable electronic device) and which is certified in accordance with UN38.3.

If you are asked at the airport whether your BagID complies with regulations, you can open the BagID app and show them following:

  1. Open the BagID app
  2. Go to 'More'
  3. Tap on 'Regulations compliance'
