Using BagID on connecting flights

The BagID works just like a regular paper tag would.

Changing airlines on your journey

If you are going on a journey with connecting flights where you are changing to flights operated by airlines BagID do not have an agreement with, you can still use your BagID in these cases:

  • You have one reference number from one of our partner airlines
  • The first flight is with a BagID partner airline
  • The luggage is checked in for the entire journey

If you have two separate bookings where you need to check in your baggage again during the journey, you can certainly use BagID if the flights is with an airline we cooperate with.

You cannot use BagID if:

  • Your journey involves a combination of airlines, and the first flight is with an airline that does not support BagID, This applies when the baggage is checked all the way through.

You can still use your BagID as a name tag and for tracking, so you can keep tabs on where your baggage is located.
