BagID is continuously working on getting more airlines on board. Today, we have the following airlines in our airline library, meaning that you can use our electronic bag tag on most flights with:
- Norwegian
- Widerøe
- Lufthansa
- Swiss Airlines
- Austrian Airlines
- Air Dolomiti
- Discover Airlines
- Brussels Airlines
- Lufthansa City Airlines
- KLM
Why do we need an agreement with the airlines?
To check in baggage digitally, our systems need to communicate with the airline’s systems. The app cannot retrieve information from an airline that has not granted us access to their systems. Without this information, it is not possible to obtain the necessary flight and passenger details to generate digital bag tags.
Please note that the use of electronic bag tags may not be supported at certain airports or on specific routes. We recommend consulting your airline for further information.
Why don't you have all the airlines already?
Integrating an airline technically requires competence and labor from both parties. This means we need to get in touch with the right people within the company and ensure that there are enough resources for the technical implementation. Additionally, we need to test the systems to make sure everything works smoothly before we can launch it for our users.
There are many possible airlines to choose from, and BagID is continuously working to onboard more airlines to our baggage solution.
If you have a preferred airline you would like to see in the app, please let both us and the airline know.
