There is an available firmware update in the app, but the device will not update.

Occasionally, new firmware updates will be made available in the app. It's important to update in order to continue using your BagID.

Always follow the instructions in the app to ensure that your device is not damaged.

If the update does not begin, you can try the following:

  1. Try closing the app and reopening it.
  2. Remove the device from the app:
    • Go to 'BagIDs' → Scroll all the way down and press 'Remove'.
    • Re-add the device and attempt to start the update.

If you do not succeed with this, you can try the following:

  1. Remove the device from the app:
    • Go to 'BagIDs' → Scroll all the way down and press 'Remove'.
  2. Reset the device:
    • Press the right button five times quickly, followed by three quick presses of the left button.
    • The device is reset when the welcome screen appears on the display.
  3. Attempt to re-add the device in the app.
