If your BagID doesn't show up in Apple Find My, here are some things you could try.
Remember to select 'Other supported item' in the Find My app: The BagID is not an AirTag, so when attempting to add your BagID 2 in Apple's Find My, you need to choose 'Other supported item.' The BagID will not appear if you select 'Add AirTag.'
Before you start troubleshooting:
- Make sure your BagID is charged
- Make sure your mobile phone operating system (iOS or Android) is updated to the latest version
- Make sure the BagID app is updated to the latest version
- Update the BagID firmware if there is an update available in the app
Things to try if you are having issues with Apple Find My:
- Remove the BagID from the BagID app
- Close the BagID app
- Remove the BagID from the Apple Find My app
- Deactivate the Apple Find My functionality on the BagID if it is active (you can check this by pressing the right button once for Apple - the status will show as Find my on/off on the device)
- Turn your phone off and on again
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that you give the BagID app access to Bluetooth
- Reboot the BagID (three clicks on the left button)
- Add the BagID to the BagID app
- Activate the Find My tracking functionality on the BagID (hold down the left button for 10 seconds and while still holding it down press the right button once)
- Add the BagID to Find My
Still experiencing issues? Repeat the steps above, but instead of deactivating the tracking functionality and rebooting the BagID, perform factory reset of the Find My tracking functionality and factory reset of the BagID device.
